Triangle Development Announces Purchase of 2.4 Acre Salvation Army Property in Downtown Clearwater Area
Property was the final piece of land needed for Triangle to begin construction of its Island View / Harrison Village development.
CLEARWATER, FL – AUGUST 31, 2005 – Triangle Development today finalized the purchase of 2.4 acres of downtown Clearwater property from the Salvation Army. The property is bounded on the east by N. Fort Harrison Avenue, on the west by Osceola Avenue, Georgia Street on the north and Jones Street on the south. The Salvation Army, which had several facilities on the property, has moved their operations to facilities on Druid Road in Clearwater.
The property is the final parcel of land needed for Triangle to begin construction of its 6.5 acre “Island View / Harrison Village” luxury condominium development. The property extends from N. Fort Harrison Avenue down to the Intracoastal Waterway.
After posing for photos and handing over a large, oversized check to Mr. Paul Bridges, Business Administrator and Mr. George Mallory, Advisory Board member for the Salvation Army of Upper Pinellas County, Ben Kugler, Triangle’s President, said, “with this final purchase, we are now proceeding full speed ahead. This is the only large luxury condominium development in the downtown Clearwater area that is actually on the waterfront, and we now have all the pieces in place.”
