learwater is a top Florida community in terms of redevelopment and expansion. The Island View and Harrison Village properties are in the Old Bay neighborhood of the Clearwater Downtown Redevelopment Plan, located just two blocks from the center of downtown Clearwater. Real estate values have soared in the area over the past few years. Meanwhile, a major revitalization is underway as new residents arrive, invest in the area and start businesses.
Clearwater itself is an ocean-side treasure, an active community that welcomes both tourists and residents. It provides a quality of lifestyle that meets a broad range of needs, from singles to growing families, to retirees, and includes both thriving businesses and a growing art community.
Coachman Park
Coachman Park is Clearwater's premier waterfront park. Home to the annual Clearwater Jazz Festival (now in its 26th year), it is used frequently for concerts and regularly features international artists, while other community and civic events are common on its grassy slopes. Woody Herman, Dave Brubeck, Count Basie, Herbie Mann, Tito Puente, Stephan Grappelli, The Neville Brothers, Branford Marsalis and Chick Corea are among the many jazz greats who have performed there.
There is the famous Pinellas Trail, a 29-mile recreational pathway. Highly popular with walkers, cyclists and roller-blade enthusiasts, it traverses the county from Downtown St. Petersburg in the south to the Sponge Docks of Tarpon Springs in the north, and passes close by the site.
Clearwater Beaches
Clearwater boasts some of the finest and cleanest white sand beaches in the country (and are regularly voted some of the best in the world), with many avenues of entertainment from fishing to scuba diving, walks on the beach, fine restaurants and nightly entertainment on the Pier. Clearwater Beach is also home to this coast's finest and largest sport-fishing fleet. To find out more about our beaches, visit www.floridasbeach.com.
Clearwater Community
Clearwater provides ample community support services, including shopping, banking, restaurants, medical and dental care providers, the highly regarded Morton Plant hospital and numerous churches are all within a mile of our development. Clearwater is the seat of Pinellas county, and has a rapidly growing population.
Clearwater Schools
Pinellas County schools rank 21st nationally, out of 16,000 other schools and are currently implementing a magnet program, providing students with a plethora of choices in areas of educational interest, including curriculum in the arts, and the International Baccalaureate program. Pinellas County also has many high-quality private and parochial schools to choose from.
The Arts and Entertainment
The Pinellas County area is home to a variety of museums, parks and aquariums for both adults and children, along with Botanical Gardens, the annual Jazz Festival and nearby Ruth Eckerd Hall (everyone from The Temptations to Riverdance, Chicago, Tom Jones and Jeff Foxworthy perform there). We have educational and entertainment experiences that everyone can enjoy year round.
